I had an issue where the threads on the "red" screw were clogged and almost stripped the take-down hole in my Ruger, but I caught it in time and took care of it.

Make sure the Ruger receiver is pushed all the way back and everything should be OK.

You have to hold it back while you tighten the "red" take-down screw. The safety and trigger both work as they should when assembled according to the instructions, although I did make a couple changes later.

I rounded the front of the trigger because it was hurting my finger. I used grit wet sandpaper on the slides to smooth them out even more, and cleaned out the somewhat sticky lubricant Muzzelite had in the slide area. I replaced the trigger pin with a shaft and ball bearing roller bearing I had. Everything is always better with ball bearings: The trigger was good before, but it's so smooth now that I was able to take out the extra, assist spring Muzzelite provides, and the trigger pressure is even lighter.

The magazine I usually use is an Archangel 25 round by ProMag. I'm glad I got it. It's now a 22 round mag and works with the Bullpup. One note, though, is that it does rub on my wrist a little so it's not as comfortable as the straighter Archangel mag I use.

Some people have complained that many of the curved extended mags don't work with this stock. I guess they don't realize that this stock has been about for about 30 years and most of those extended magazines weren't made then.

Anyway, as it turns out, even if those curved mags did fit, they aren't completely comfortable with the Bullpup and wouldn't be the best solution. If you take you time, your Bullpup conversion can be as good as mine.

However, this one isn't made well. I had to reassemble the stock several times to figure out in which order to put in the screws so everything would line up. Once I figured that out, I noticed the front sight post was rather crooked.

Sometimes the trigger would reset, other times it wouldn't. I don't know if these are problems with all the Muzzelite stocks, or just the one I received.

RUGER ACCESSORIES

Assembly was easy enough, but some of the mounting hardware either protruded hand grip or was of insufficient length to completely fill its threaded brass ferrule. Your rifle mounts to the stock via a kit-provided bolt through a riveted polymer L-bracket.

The added safety did work and the trigger actuator bar did work. Over all, the polymer used feels very thin, twists easily and doesn't have matching mold marks or even a clean casting - lots of flash.

The scope mount is a friction-fit dovetail mount that attaches with a bolt into an unthreaded hole in the mount. No way I would use this for family or a customer. The rifle echos inside the hollow core when firing.

Trigger feel is horrid. You can feel thye trigger mech. Mold lines and fit are Mattel-ish. Just not happy for the price spent. Looking for more than just astetics.
